How tuition works

We don't print tuition here, because it depends on the room and the schedule. Here is what sets it and how it is paid.

  • What sets tuition

Tuition depends on your child's room and age and on the schedule you pick: mornings, three mornings in the twos room, or the school day. We send our figures when you ask, and we go through them with you on a tour.

    • The room and your child's age

    • Mornings, three mornings or school day

    • The days a week

  • Registration

A registration fee covers the enrollment file and the first set of materials. It is due when you apply, and we tell you what it is when you ask.

  • Holding a place

A place is held once we have your enrollment form and a first payment that goes toward your first month's tuition. When a room is full, families join a waitlist by room and schedule, and we offer places in the order families joined.

    • Enrollment form and a first payment hold a place

    • The waitlist is by room and schedule

  • Billing

Tuition is billed monthly and paid by autopay through our parent portal. If another arrangement would help your family, tell us at the tour.

  • Help with tuition

Ask us whether Texas child care assistance works with our tuition. We will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do, and we would rather you ask before you apply.

  • Siblings

If you have more than one child at Ginkgo, ask us on the tour how it works for your family.

  • Withdrawing

We ask for a month's notice before a child leaves, so that we can offer the place to a family on the waitlist. The enrollment agreement says what happens to a month in progress.

  • A few costs sit outside tuition: materials for the year, field trips in spring and lunch on school days, which families send from home. Each has its own purpose, and we list them one by one when you ask.
